Worble: The Word Game With a Moving Answer
The secret word changes by one letter after every guess, so you chase a moving target in six tries.
How to play Worble
Enter the opening word
Type the first word the game suggests and press Enter. Worble checks it against the hidden answer, then hides your letters and shows only coloured boxes. Remember what you typed.
Read the colours and the shift hint
Green is the right letter in the right spot. Yellow is in the word but in the wrong spot. Gray is not in the word. Below the row, a hint tells you how the secret word just changed: a letter added, removed or swapped.
Chase the moving answer in six tries
Each guess must fit the word as it is after the latest shift. Example: you solve BUCKLE, the hint says an S was added, and the new target is BUCKETS. Keep going until the daily word is solved or the six tries run out.

What is Worble?
Worble is a free daily word puzzle with one twist that changes everything: the answer doesn't stay still. After every guess the secret word is edited by a single letter. A letter might be swapped, dropped or added, so the word can grow or shrink as you play.
You still get six guesses and the familiar green, yellow and gray colours. What you lose is a stable target, which is why Worble feels so different from a standard guessing grid.
Hidden letters and colour-only memory
Worble hides the letters behind each guess. You see a strip of coloured boxes but not the word you typed inside them. Together with the shift hints, that pushes you to track your own entries instead of rereading old rows.
It is a small rule change with a big effect. Most players end up repeating candidate words under their breath and checking them against the last colour pattern.
How to read a Worble shift hint
When the hint says a letter was added, the new target is one slot longer. A swap means only one position changed while the rest of the frame still matters. Drops are the sharpest turns, because they can remove a letter you were building around.
A handy habit is to write down the current word length before every guess and update it when the shift line arrives.
Worble tips
- Start with a word full of common vowels so the first colours tell you something real.
- Note the word length after each shift. A longer or shorter target changes which words fit.
- Plan one move ahead and think about which letters might appear after a swap.
- Don't trust an old green blindly. The letter in that slot may have just been replaced.

Worble FAQ
What makes Worble different from other word guessing games?
A standard guessing game keeps one fixed answer. In Worble the hidden word changes by a single letter after every guess, so you are always solving the latest version of the word, not the one you started with.
Why can't I see the letters I typed in Worble?
Worble hides your guesses and shows only coloured boxes. That forces you to track your own entries and rely on the shift hints instead of rereading past rows.
How many guesses do I get in Worble?
You get six tries for the daily puzzle. Use them carefully, because a wrong path still uses up a turn even when the word length changes.
What does the Worble shift hint mean?
It describes the one-letter change that happened after your last guess. A letter may be added, removed or swapped for another, so the word can get one letter longer or shorter.
Is there a new Worble puzzle every day?
Yes. One daily word is available at a time. Finish it or run out of guesses and the next puzzle unlocks the following day.
